Arriving by Air
You can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). DIA is approximately a 2 hour drive from Vail (100 miles) with service from all major airlines daily. EGE is approximately a 40 minute drive from Vail (35 miles), with two major carriers (United and American) providing a limited number of flights daily.
Ground Transportation To/From DIA and EGE Airports
There are three primary options for getting to Vail once you arrive at the airport in Colorado.
1) Colorado Mountain Express (CME)
CME provides shuttle transportation directly to your hotel in Vail from Denver International Airport or Eagle County Airport. There is no need for a car once you arrive in Vail, so this is an easy option. Our special group rate (10% off) is $71/person, one-way to/from DIA or $39/person, one-way to/from EGE on shared shuttles. Additional discounts apply if you have enough people to fill an entire van. 2) "High Mountain Taxi" And "Ride Taxi" (from EGE - we do not recommend taking a taxi from DIA)
Provides service between EGE and Vail. This is a great option if you have a group of up to six people as prices can be expensive.

3) Car Rentals
All major car rental companies are represented at DIA with prices as low as $35/night. Many car rental companies are represented at EGE, and those with offices at the airport can be found by clicking here. Free parking is available for guests at Lion Square Lodge.
